Sunday I had the

pleasure of fishing with 4 J's. Jody Watson and his

son Jeremy, along with Jody's brother Jason and

his son Justin all headed down to Hopedale to

enjoy a day on the water.

We left the dock in

hopes of loading the boat with speckled trout like

the previous day, but mother nature had other

plans for us. As we reached the open water of the

Sound we were greeted by hard South East winds

and filthy rough water. So I told the guys redfish

would probably be our best bet, and asked if they

were up for catching a few. Needless to say, there

wasn't one negative response.

The long/short

of things was that the dads got a fantastic seminar

on how to catch redfish. The two boys were

literally on fire!

By the days end they must of

caught 40 something redfish, keeping 20 and also

boxed a few trout, a flouder, few drum, and

sheepshead. Wound up a great day and were back

at the dock in time for the Saints game!

Fall is

knocking at the door and so is some of the best

fishing of the year! If you have never fished in the

Fall, then be sure to put it on your bucket list! YOU

WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!
