Day two for the Mike Schiro group. Capt. Jonathan Sanchez helped me with the group again. In my boat, I had Mike, Mike's son Royal, Mike's friend Royal, and Hector.
We did the same drill fishing the islands (which had mullet rafts) and caught some real pretty fish on croakers deep under corks at the first stop. Once the bite panned out we were running and gunning from there on out trying to get away from the small trout.
It was the same story the rest of the day, until the last of the bait was gone.
Both boats finished with strong boxes of fish ending up with 165 trout! All fish caught under corks on both shrimp and croakers.
