Yesterday, I had the pleasure of fishing with the Brady's from Baton Rouge. Bob, his wife Gail, and their 9 yr old daughter Mary Rose joined me.
We headed out to the edge of Breton Sound and got on a steady trout bite that was enough to keep us there for most of the morning. Mary Rose picked up everyone's slack and was giving free clinics on catching trout! Mom and dad eventually caught on after carefully watching Mary Rose's techniques.
We had some bait issues with a lot of shrimp dying and wound up running out with 71 trout in the ice chest. Threw plastics for another 15-20 min and only picked up one. So we packed it in falling 3 fish short and 72 in the box. All fish were caught on live shrimp under corks.
I've said it once and I'll say it again. DON'T MISS THE BOAT THIS SUMMER.....be sure to get on the books while the action is HOT!!! For reservations DIAL 504-259-5304.
