It has been a phenominal week down at the BSM. Limits of trout every day have been par for the course....even in this weekends wind.
I had the pleasure of fishing with the TUFF EQUIPMENT FISHING TEAM again. I had three generations of Kastners on the boat Big Ralph, Ralph Jr., and Logan. They also brought their regional store manager, Steve.
I had them get to the BSM super early because of the weekend crowds. We drove out into the sound and arrived just at first light.
It didn't take any time for the fish to start filling the igloo and boats to start coming and going. Within no time we were surrounded by 9 boats, all of whom were courteous. The fish didn't like the company and went from steady, to coming in spurts.
We waited them out as long as we could and then headed into Eloi to polish off the limit. All fish were caught on live Boogie shrimp both carolina rigged on 3/8 oz and under popping corks about 2'. The fish were pretty and from 1- 3lbs.
