I had the pleasure of fishing with Roy Labourdette and his crew from Texas, Scott, Nathan, and Greg. It was a quick trip and so.....a quick report.
We started on the edges of Eloi and thats where we stayed put. Got on two good trout bites, where the fish were eatin' up the Live Boogies under corks.
The crew did an excellent job kicking butt and opening up the can of whoop ass on the trout!
With in what seemed like no time flat the boys boxed 100 nice speckled trout in the igloo and were just in time for beating the heat! By 9am we were heading back to the BSM fish cleaning tables for some shade and a cold refreshing beverage.
Capt Danny also had a fantastic trip with his crew boxing 90 trout before the crew was ready to hang it up. He had the better fishermen, John, Mike, Damion, and Jerry! Ha Ha Roy!
Capt. George also wound up with a great box of 70 some odd trout with his group. All in all it was another specktacular day down in Hopedale! Great time with some great company!
Fishing has been absolutely OFF THE CHARTS! Whatever you do----DO NOT MISS THE BOAT THIS SUMMER!! Call and get on the books before it's over and the kids start school!
