Had charters both Sat. and Sun. and we fished around the weather buey but mostly SW of it.. In 16 to 18 feet of water. Caught some really nice fish a 48,47 a few 46`s. All but 1 fish was over 44 inches.. Boy was some monsters being caught in the Hot Rod tourneyment.. A couple 54 inchers a 52 and some change and plenty of 50`s that had some weight including a monster 38 pound 9 oz. 51 7/8 incher that was caught right next to us that we ended up borrowing our live well to the boat so they could run it to a M.O.M.C scale. What a beutiful fish.. I never had a color go more than once.. Baits that went were Gotchas, Wileys, Ziggys , Lokes, Bucktails and Charlie Browns. If these fish are this big now OH BOY I can`t wait until the fall.. Good Luck Guys Captain Craig (www.heatwavecharters.com)
