Colin and his father-in-law from Australia joined us on the river. We did a half day float in the evening. The river fished pretty well today. Most of the fish we got pulled through the boat were nymphing. Both Colin and his father-in-law picked up a nice rocky mountain white fish, which I haven't seen in a long time, and then they both got a couple of nice trout but the real highlight of the day was that in the evening we stopped and we started hunting snouts on the bank. We just picked out a bunch of snouts and we got some good eats. I had Colin casting to feeding fish in the waning hours of twilight. We had a bunch of fish eat and we just weren't able to hook up and the fish kept feeding right until dark. So all in all it was a very enjoyable day and a good day on the river.
