June has been a very interesting month. It started a little slow with the silver bite, but the Lake Trout action was great. Then we transitioned to unbelievable action with Atlantic Salmon and Domestic Rainbows. This past weekend the King Salmon and Steelhead Trout appeared. The fish are incredibly beautiful and big this year as our forage base seems to be bountiful with both Smelt and Alewife's.

Bio: Fisherman for life. Grew up in S. Fla fishing Miami to Fla Keys. Moved to Rochester area, been fishing for trout and salmon in the Rochester, NY area for 18 years. I'll be back to Fla when the kids graduate, but in the mean time, you know. Rochester is a great area for all species. We have brown trout, Lake trout, rainbow/steelhead trout, king salmon, coho salmon and atlantic salmon. These are all great fish which can make for a great mixed bag some days.
