Kabetogama/Namakan Fishing Report 4/2/07

Unpleasant weather raised havoc with anglers desires to get on the ice.

The lakes still have plenty of ice, but standing water, slush and unpredictable pressure ridges limit the areas available for angling.

Kabetogama is closed to pike and walleye, whereas Namakan and Sandpoint, border lakes, are still open to pike and walleye fishing for a couple weeks.

Crappie action has been very unpredictable on the area lakes and there has been very little angler pressure.

Have a Great Day!
