Line sides fishing has really slowed down this week. The full moon at the beginning of the week has the fish feeding at night. There is a decent bite right at sun up and then again right before sun down and then in to the night. Live bait seems to be producing best right now. But the key to catching fish on live bait is to keep your bait fresh. You need to change your baits every 5 minutes if you are using shad. Fresh bait means more bites. The south end of the lake is still the place to be. The water temps are a little cooler and the oxygen level is higher on the south end of the lake. When fishing in the mornings and late afternoon use free lines and down lines to increase you chances for numbers. By midday go to down lines and start trolling umbrella rigs at 3.1 miles and hour and 130 feet behind the boat.
