This Lake Allatoona fishing guides report for striper and hybrid has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770 827-6282. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: eidson6260@comcast.net.

Line side fishing is Fair. The lake has came up 2 feet in the last few weeks. The north end of the lake is stain but is still holding a Ton of fish mostly white bass and small Hybrids. These fish will not hit live bait. But they will take a spoon as fast as you drop it down to them. Look for these fish north of Galts Ferry. Mid lake is where you want to be if you are looking for stripers. Bartow Carver to the dam is the place to be for stripers. These fish are not eating live bait either. I have had my best luck mid-lake pulling u-rigs and plugs. These fish have moved out of the river channel and up on the edge of it. Look for these fish to be in water 20- 40 deep.

I think striper fishing is only a few days away from busting wide open. And the top water bite is just around the corner to. I still have a few days open for Jan. Give me a call and lets go fishing......

SPECIAL NOTE. Just because the lake levels are falling don't think you can't load the boat with fish. The best fishing every year is when the lake is at it lowest. Remember with less water this also means less boats and less fishing pressure. I look for the lake record striper to be caught this year. And I truly believe it will be caught by one of my clients. First Bite Guide Service has its boats wet slip on Allatoona. Even if all the ramps close. We will be open all winter. Please call and book your trip today. The next PARTY BOAT TRIP WILL BE ON SAT. JAN. 19
