Stripers and Hybrid fishing on Lake Allatoona.

Fishing Has been a little bit slower this week but is still good. With the record cold nights we have had it as drop the water temp 10 degrees in the past 2 weeks. But to my surprise it hasn't hurt the hybrid bite that much. The striper bite has slowed down. But look for it to pick back up as the water warms. The fish have back down out of the river with these dropping water temps. But will move back up as the water starts to warm. The spawn hasn't reach it's prime yet. So keep you eye on the river for the next 3 weeks... For you guys ( ME ) that don't want to go up the river. The south end of the lake is still holding a ton of hybrid. These fish are biting flat lines and planner boards in the morning. And down lines and Mack Farr u-rigs when the sun gets up...The u-rig bite is the best bite going right now. Look for these fish to be off main lake points and on the edge of the humps.... Remember April and May are great months for line-side. Give me a call a nd grab the kids and lets go fishing.......And please remember to visit my new fishing forum. www.lakeallatoonaguides.com This site is own by me and my buddy Mike Bucca.
