This Lake Allatoona striper and hybrid fishing guides report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770-827-6282. eidson6260@comcast.net. www.firstbiteguideservice.

Line side fishing is Good right now . The bite this week started off Very slow on Sat.( East Winds ). But has rebound nicely by week in. The fish are still deep 30 -50 feet deep. Live bait is really starting to work well on these fish right now. Plus there is also a good spoon bite right now. The southend of the lake is still the place to be. Any where from clear Creek to the Allatoona Creek arm. Troll these area's with your Mack Farr u-rigs. As soon as you find one of these MEGA schools drop live bait down to them or use a 1 oz spoon on them. The northend of the lake is starting to show signs of the turnover. There is still alot of bass ( Spots and Large Mouths ) up north. But very few line-sides ( Stripers and Hybrids )....

The top water bite is really starting to get good. Look for these fish on top early morning and late afternoon. It's hard to beat a Sammy when these fish are schooling on top. Look for these fish on the flats out in front of Kellogg Creek.
