■ Date: Feb 19th, 2010

■ Name: Lake Baccarac

■ Hottest Baits: 5 inch senkos, 1/2 oz rattletraps silver/blue, Meduim Bomber crankbaits, worms, lizards

■ Hottest Colors: Watermelon, 1oz Jigs very hot bait

■ Date Fished: Feb. 10th to 19th

■ Comments: The numbers of bass are continuing to be very strong for groups at the lodge. Dennis McCarty and Steve Wik from California are having a great week so far. While fishing with guide Pedro, Steve caught an 11.0 bass, an 11.3 and an 8.14 largemouth, along with finding several nice fish in the 7 lb. range As far as baits, you need to bring brown jigs, silver blue rattletraps, super flukes in white and watermelon.
