Hottest Baits: 6 inch senkos watermelon and black/blue. Also black blue 1 oz jigs with blue/black senko trailer, 1 oz rattletraps silver/blue, medium running strike King crankbaits Sexy Shad and blue gizzard shad color, Zoom lizzards, spinnerbaits twin willow leaf white/chart and Spittin images for topwater. Brown and watermelon jigs.

Comments: The Chris Mcvay group reported 3 bass over 10 pounds, 2 over 11 and 1 largemouth over 12 pounds on the first of May - catching fish on Wacky Senkos -watermelon seed color and Storm Wild Eyed Swim Baits in pearl color. The Randy Zotzky group also banging the big bass over 10 pounds on Watermelon seed Lizards... Mark Crawford returned with his biggest 20 bass weighing over 160 pounds. Over the last 12 days fishing has improved almost daily with excellent numbers of 6 to 9 pound black bass along the big ones listed above.
