Comments: Jan. 26th - Better numbers on Baccarac with Byran Baca catching 120 bass for the day with 41 of them between 5 and 6 pounds. Byran fished mostly shallow hoping to find a bigger spawning female largemouth. Russ Landers boat catching 36 bass for the day fishing deeper all day long with big fish for the day being an 8.3 pounder. Narlin Salazar while fishing with Russ Johnson landed a 11.2 largemouth bass fishing in Wasama using a wacky style black/blue senko in deeper water.

Jan. 31st - Fishing on Lake Baccarac ranged from good to very good depending on the day of the week. Up to 100 bass a day for some boats with fish to 8 pounds being caught. Kenneth Poole landed several bass over 9 and 1 over 10 pounds fishing brush hogs in deeper water.
