■ Hottest Baits: 5 inch senkos, 1/2 oz rattletraps silver/blue, Meduim Bomber crankbaits, worms, lizards

■ Hottest Colors: Watermelon, 1oz Jigs very hot bait

■ Date Fished: Feb. 25th to March 1st

■ Comments: We are still catching very good numbers at Lake Baccarac, with Gil Wright and Denis Bootenhoff of Oklahoma City catching 531 bass in four days of fishing, including six largemouth over 5 lbs., eight over 6 lbs., seven bass over 7 lbs., one over 8 lbs., one bass that weighed 10.11 and one that was 11.8 lbs. Darrell Long reported 75 black bass in the morning with a 10.12 lb. being the largest.
