We had a group from Yo-Zuri design and engineering that was here to test new Sashimi baits. They arrived on Oct 19th. By the 22nd they had caught 2 bass at 10 pounds, 1 fish at 11, 1 at 9 pounds and some 8 pound bass all on film. I saw the photos and they are the real deal. The groups at the lake were averaging 50 to 100 largemouth bass per day with some big fish. One morning George Large, fishing by himself caught 48 bass up to 8 pounds and on their departure day George had a 10 & 11 pounder. These are the same quality fish that we were catching at the end of last season.

In addition, customers at Lake El Salto say the topwater bite is on. They also said they averaged 45-50 fish/angler in the morning session. Hundred fish days are common although the afternoon bite with the exception of the last hour has been slower overall. Our new boats are second to none on El Salto! They're the most user-friendly fishing boats in Mexico with huge casting decks and side by side seats for riding and your choice of a butt seat or swivel seats while fishing. Thanks to Tracker Marine who went with my new design and built this bass boat. It has really impressed our anglers.

You can expect your Anglers Inn amigos like Herbie, Tony, Sammy, Ramon and Jose to be at the lake to greet you and head chef, Giovanni to prepare your meals!
