Trophy Bass Lodge/Lake Huites fishing report/Kevin Green/April 15th

Fishing remains strong at Trophy Bass Lodge on beautiful Lake Huites. Camp manager George Felix reports up to 80 fish per boat. The last group out recorded 3 fish over 10 lbs. The fish our starting to move onto structure out in 12 to 25 feet of water. Hottest baits have been BIG slow rolled spinnerbaits in chartruese and white. Deep diving crankbaits in pearl and of course chartruese. Swimbaits are really starting to produce the post-spawn females as well. The next six weeks ought to be some prime fishing, as the fish start moving into there summertime patterns.
