What a weird week of fishing. It was like fishing two different lakes. One day it was as good as it could be and the next it was all different. Really had to stay on your toes. Luckily we had more good days than bad. Still catching a bunch of solid fish. Mostly slot fish, but a few unders and one over :)

John got his personal best on Wednesday with me. She weighed in at 10.1. Congrats again John.

For the most part we are targeting spawning fish. There are fish spawing all over the lake right now. Flukes, lizards, and spinnerbaits are taking most of the fish. Any shade of watermelon should work. Our shad started spawning this week, so the spinnerbait bite should get better. The forecast looks great this week, for a change. Pretty pumped. We should get some topwater fish this week too.

Here are my next few open dates. Tuesday April 28th, afternoon of Wednesday April 29th, May 4th, 5th and 6th.
