The Wild Rainbow Trout fishing is good as always on the Sacramento River we are also catching 2 to 3 Steelhead each trip out that weigh from 2lbs. To 5lbs. The Trout are biting on fly's, live bait , glow bugs and plugs. There are a lot of Salmon in the river right now making for a good glow bug bite.

Salmon fishing season opens on November 1st and will be open for 2 months. I am looking forward to going big game fishing again there is nothing like hooking into a 25 lbs. Salmon. We have been seeing a lot of Salmon in the river below Red Bluff.
