I had the pleasure of fishing with Harold Anderson, Mark "Cupcake" Edwards, and Dan Putnam again for the second time.
The crew fished with me in the evening and wanted to get in on some redfish action while the water is up in the afternoon.
It turned out to be a good move as we hit two duck holes off of Amadee and put 20 reds in the box quick along with a couple of flounder and drum to boot.
I asked them if they wanted to give some trout a shot close by, while we still had some daylight left. Coincidentally all three were game.
Believe it or not, we were just looking to box a few and not kill them. So off to the dam we went. Low and behold they were there and HUNGRY!! They were inhaling the Boogie shrimp under corks and FAST! With in no time they boxed yet another limit of fish.
We headed back to BSM with limits of trout and redfish, along with a couple drum and flounder to boot. What an evening with some great folks that are always a hoot to fish with!!
It's like a broken record right now how awesome the fishing is. It is the time we talk about every single year!! If you've ever contemplated a guided trip, do yourself a favor and do it.....like NOW!!!
