The Wild Rainbow Trout and Steelhead fishing on the lower Sacramento River from Redding to the Bend Bridge has been very good the past month for fly fishermen using small Caddis or Mayfly nymphs under a indicator. spin fishermen are drifting worms, crickets or Glow Bugs. Fishermen trolling Hot shots or flat fish are doing very well. The fishing conditions have not changed in the past 2 months with very little rain the river is gin clear and very low at 4000 cfs. right now.
