A long, cool spring along with high water conditions slowed the migration of salmon and steelhead. Our local Wilamette Valley rivers have finally dropped into more manageable boating and fishing levels and our late-arriving fish are now responding favorably to the enjoyment of many fishermen. These migratory fish are indeed late this season, but that will make for some incredible days of fishing in the approaching weeks. We will be floating the gorgeous McKenzie River by driftboat which comfortably accomodates two adult guests with your personal guide at the oars. A guided river trip by driftboat is a traditional favorite in Oregon and a must for visitors who have never enjoyed this experience.
