It may be a late ice out again for the spring of 2008. But with all the snow we have had this winter we should have a very good run off, and have very good boating conditions for spring salmon season. The last two season's boating was very difficult to get to where you would like to go too those favourate spots.

Most of you will or still are tying those special patterns for the spring. I know I am! If you get a chance to send a pattern my way please do. Once again I look forward to doing the Reports for G.R.Colford & Sons Limited at www.guidenb.com . With lower numbers of salmon returning last season, lets hope there were some late runs that will keep our lines tight during our spring fishing season. I saw several fish late last fall after the season and may be they were some late runs I was watching.

I also have a few days left for spring fishing if any anglers are interested. I fish from the area of Blackville, Upper Blackville, Blissfield and up to Doaktown, Spring, Summer and Fall. My Fishing Guides for 2008 are Gary Colford, Pat Colford, Malcolm McCormack, Carl Hallihan, Ian Fortune and myself Rodney Colford.
