May 24th and no sign of any bright fish or fresh trout yet. I fished this morning on the North West Miramichi and had no luck. It was a beautiful day on the River. The water was a very good temp at 52F degrees. But the rivers are still a little on the high side. There was a rumor that someone got a bright fish on the NW yesterday.

There are some trout being caught down in the bay area one fisherman told me this morning. I fished for a hour on the South West Miramichi in Blissfield area this afternoon and never seen sign of a fish. And the Main river here is still a little high aswell. I will give it a try tonight before dark and see if I can change My luck. Its always fun to practise casting even if your not catching anything. There is lots of Eagles and Ospreys flying and fishing and they do have better luck. I will report back tomorrow.
