The Oriental Rotary Held their 15th anual tarpon tournamnet. 57 boats fished the tournament, 13 tarpon were caught by 10 anglers. A three way tie for 1st among 3 anglers and 7 anglers caught one including Capt.Gary's angler, Don Peters of Thomasville, NC. With the tie breaking rule, we finished 8th, took home a trophy $900 bucks and great memories...Don's first tarpon to the boat! We'll have tarpon into Sept. and I have a few open dates.
