It has been a very mild winter here in NC! The giant Outer Banks Striper fishing has been slow. After a cold front this past week I was off to Manteo to try my luck. Fridays half day trip was a bust…not enough time to head north to find fish, but Sat and Sun full days produced…not big numbers but very big fish!!

Three of the fish were over 30 pounds. We are expecting another hard cold snap this week and as of yesterday afternoon the stripers were at Duck and moving south. I am fishing Friday and I do have Saturday and Sunday January 20 and 21 open and January 26, 27 and 28. Best to book full days …we may need to make the big run.
