Fished with Chris Comeaux and his family on an overnight trip Friday night! We will be out on another this Friday! We still have Sunday open and had a cancelation on an overnighter for the 8th so as of now that Friday Saturday and Sunday is open as well!

Friday, we left the dock around three, headed out of Tiger pass due to the river being closed. First stop was for bait, then off to the first fishing hole! Not much action there but we did put a little meat in the boat to start off the trip!

After dark we headed for what would be our night spot. When we got there, everything looked to be dead. The boat had not even come to a stop when I heard Chris yell DOLPHIN!! He threw the frenzy angry popper out and it was fish on, looked out again and two more dolphin, sent out a chunk, fish on again - Chris' wife took over the rod!! With all of that going on, Chris' dad had taken out the other popper and the third fish was on as well! Talk about action, fish were jumping everywhere, one even jumped and slammed into the side of the boat! We put two fish in the boat, then the third was in galf reach, made one last run and pulled the hook on the popper that was only holding on by skin! two out of three, not too bad!

After the dolphin chaos, everything was dead! We fished pretty hard for blackfin but only managed two bonita so we took that time to rest! At daylight, we started up again! As we made it back to the rig we could see a few fish busting! Tried like hell to catch them on poppers but no luck! After all the action died down, no more fish jumping - What do you know - Fish On! One of the chunks had been picked up! Send out another and we were doubled up! We landed both fish-Great job guys! (And Girl) We made a few more drifts, managed one more yellowfin then it was off to find the amberjack! Chris said that he was always on a boat that caught AJ's but had never boated one so I was going to put him on an AJ if it took the rest of the day! Not only did Chris catch one but so did everyone on the boat. After a limit of aj's we took to the snapper for a quick limit then to the dock!

What a great crew to fish with! I could not have asked for a better group!

Most of out aj's were taken on hardtails about 200ft down in about 600ft of water! Snapper in 200 ft on pogies! Tuna on cut bonita!

Good Luck guys, be safe out there! If you see the "Looney Tuna" around, give me a shout! I stand by on channel 68, I will be more than happy to point you in the right direction, or maybe you can point me!

If you would like to book a trip, just give us a call or email! Feel free to check out the website, just excuse the home page! A little construction going on! The pics and video's are still up though!
