Bernie, Beverly, Bobby, and Sue had one terrific day fishing. Bernie told me he was bringing his FIANCE' and she had never fished before. The morning started good first stop big trout coming in but it slowed down fast. I moved the boat around some trying stay on the bite. On the move looking for some tide movement and a bite. Got some incoming tide around 9:00AM and the trout turned on live croakers on the bottom and hold on the trout would nail he bait as it drifted with the current. The trout were flying in the boat from all sides for awhile. By the end of the day Beverly and Sue were putting a whipping on the trout and the guy's. Sue was like a machine I would put a croaker on the hook and she would put a trout in the boat every time. Beverly was Flipping 2 to 3 lb trout in over the bow like no tomorrow like she had been doing all her life. Bernie and Bobby were working hard to hold their own. With a limit of trout on ice we headed in for some redfish action to top off the box. Two stops was all that was needed every one got 1 red each and we called it a day before the heat set in.
