Fished a few pre-spawning areas around Lake Lanier Islands today and caught more than 20 spotted bass from 11 inches to over 4 pounds on diving crankbaits and 1/4 ounce Swirleybirds. The warm weather and rising water had many active fish in less than 10 feet of water and very agressive. It was a great day, but I am really excited that we will soon be catching more than 40 bass a day on the smaller 1/8th ounce Swirleybirds.
