November is the month that we’ve all been waiting for here in Puerto Vallarta fishing. For starters, we’re going to experience a lot of the same game fish that we had last month. Just a lot more fish and bigger ones. Marlin, sailfish, tuna, and Mahi Mahi. We also have a couple of fishing tournaments coming up in the November 5th Los Muertos tournament. This is one of the biggest tournaments of the year, usually, around 200 boats enter this tournament and target mostly mahi-mahi and sailfish. This is a great tournament for the locals and international fishermen alike. There are some great prizes this year 350,000 pesos. The next international tournament is November the 9th for registration and there will be three hard-core fishing days for Marlin, sailfish, tuna, and mahi-mahi.  There is big money in these tournaments and some of the top fishermen /charter companies will be fishing this in Puerto Vallarta November

The significant changes from October to November are, we just have such perfect conditions for fishing. The cobalt blue water, the ideal temperature, ( 82 deg, )and plenty of bait fish. If you’re looking for a wall hanger as we call” a big fish to hang on the wall” November is a fantastic month to be here for all kinds of pelagic fish. We catch a little bit of everything. Not to worry if you are looking for a fun day in the bay we have plenty of action here as well. Spanish mackerel, yellowtail, mahi-mahi, and some snapper. Excellent bay fishing in the winter months.

We also offer several different kinds of trips during the winter months. One of our specialty trips is half a day fishing and half a day whale watching. You can see a lot of our videos on YouTube which have become quite famous with a lot of our catches and some of the incredible whale-watching videos. One of our other really requested trips is half a day fishing and then spending some time on the beach either snorkeling or having lunch.  These are fantastic trips and some of our most requested.

The whales usually start showing up in December in full force but are usually around in November as well, so if you’re interested in one of our specialty trips, please give us a call on one of our toll-free numbers or our e-mail. One of our most requested trips is whale watching and fishing. Let us know and either one of our specialty trips.
