Yesterday I fished with Stan Easly his son Chad who is off to Iraq in Jan and Jeremy. It was my honor to put one of our brave service men on a bunch of fish today. The guys told at the dock they wanted some speckled trout but really wanted to catch some redfish. So I set my sights on redfish and catch a few trout along the way too. Things started out great and stayed that way all day. We caught redfish just about everywhere but a most were under sixteen inches, But some nice keeper fish in the mix. With just about a limit of redfish we got on a trout bite and finished the day with topping off the box with some nice speckled trout. The guy's had blast and Chad has some good fishing stories to take with him. I wish him well and salute all of our servicemen who protect and make our freedoms possible.
