We had some strong thunderstorms push through last night. Yesterdays trip was out of Aransas Pass, Texas. We used live shrimp for Redfish in the sandpockets on the flats. The Redfish were hitting live shrimp freelined and under a rattle float. We fished the outer reefs in deeper water 3'-5'deep for Speckled Trout using live shrimp freelined on bottom. We caught several undersized Specks mixed in with a few keeper fish. Our weather will gradually warm up as well as our water temperatures over the next several weeks. Contact me for any information you need to book your fishing trip on the flats for Redfish and Trout. I can provide you with lists of places to stay for your convenience.

Good luck on your next fishing trip.
