All the fun we had with the specks the last few months,the red fish sortof got a break,but with all the fresh water in the creeks the trout bite slowed down a bit.so i took a group right off of topsail beach and got into 3 large schools of 28-36 inch reds.we were catching them on a 3/4 ounce shad color storm bait.running up to the schools and bomb casting to them.if your trout bite slows,go checkout these reds in the surf!http://www.topsailbeachfishingcharters.com
