06/07/2008 Capt. Ken Biemiller from Off The Hook Charters out Saturday. HOT and BUGGY was the words of the day. I personally like the heat, but I forgot my bug spray and "Wholy Crap" I won't forget it next week. I marked nice bait on the floor in 50 to 80 fow and worked an early deep program to turn up 1 coho. As the morning progressed I had a steelhead and a king go off free sliding cheaters, which neither converted. I ended up rolling over to a Lake Trout program late morning that finally provided the bites to give us a day. It can be humbling at times and just goes to show that they can't all be super silver days, but that the Rochester fishery is diverse enough an area to provide for excellent fishing even on tough days.
