Had a charter cancel due to expected high winds on Sat. 5-9 but a friend of mine fished the night before and crushed them so you guessed it I had to go out in the morning.. Called a buddy told him the deal and set it up for early morning so hopefully we would be off the water before the wind started.. Everything was going as planned first pass on a 100 yard strip I was fishing 4 walleye 2nd pass 3 walleye then we picked away at them with plenty of smallmouth and white bass and a few throw back walleye in between.. We needed 1 more walleye for 12 a 2 person limit in Canadian waters then the wind came in fast. It was brutal the next 45 min. but we hung in there and finsished our limit in just about 3 hours of fishing.. 3/4 oz jig tipped with fin-s minnow bait caught all the fish.. Good Luck Captain Craig Miller check us out at www.heatwavecharters.com
