Had a strong NW wind which made for some big waves. Well here`s a story. Just got set up auto pilot on and was at back of boat setting lines when looked off to the side and holy s##t a swapped bass boat floating with just the bow bouncing out of the water.. Was inside my planner board and you know it.. It caught my inside rod board line.. Line was screeming out. Tightened the drag and snapped it off oh there goes a $26 ziggy.. Called the coast guard they said it was reported going down the night before.. Unbelieveable they left this boat unmarked all night and for the 6 hours I was out there no one came.. What a accident waiting to happen.. Back to muskie we went 3 for 5 all fish came on 10 inch nils and ziggies.. 2oz and 20ft off boards was hot set up for day.. Good Luck Captain Craig Miller (www.heatwavecharters.com)
