Over the past couple days the weather has been as good as it can get for winter steelhead fishing. Today we just about had the river to ourselves. Fishing on weekdays in the winter is the way to go. No crowds and plenty of water too fish.

We did well using blue egg sacs and trout beads as well as size 10 black stone flies. Today we found several fresher fish in the upper river and Steve Treadwell caught his first ever Steelhead.

Great job Steve, He's hooked for life. He had to fish hard for every fish but came out a winner.

Warmer weather is on its way so give us a call and get in on the great winter fishing.
