http://www.wrightsvillebeachfishingcharters.net captain mike 910-619-8509 what a weekend! i think spring has got here at last. for the first time the redfish were on the move in large schools on the grass flats. the numbers of fish seem to be growing from year to year. the fish that are on the beach are moving into the inlets now that the water temps are in the mid to high 50`s. if you can find schools of bait, these fish will be stuck to them! ive been throwing gulp shrimp and some shrimp i froze (with the heads on) on a 1/4 jighead and or a 4 inch shad color stormbait for the bigger fish. i have seen small schools of trout (50 or less) running around towards topsail area. i think 62 degrees will be the magic number for them. clear grubs, small crankbaits and jerkbaits are my lures of choice. http://www.topsailbeachfishingcharters.com
