Well even the EXTREMELY low/warm waters didn't discourage an early run of king, cohos and brown trout up the Salmon River. The bad news is alot of them went belly and floated back to the lake:(. The estuary is littered corpses. Way to much stress for them to survive- I guess mother nature is cruel sometimes.

The BIG lake has been ON FIRE! Plenty of limits coming off the charters. Plugs and spoons have been out doing the fly combos the last few trips- We've been doing fish on both but the hardwear seems to be better and better every day. Salmon are hitting in tight to out deep 10'-150'. Pretty much if you get out there and run lures your going to run across them- I've been fishing 50-70' mostly and marking fish on the sonar nonstop.

Lots of sore arms the past week!

Night trips at the Salmon River mouth got under way this past weekend w/ mixed results. Fri/Sat we had a 10 boat party going out and all the boat got into fish. We managed a couple of beasts!-
