Star Fish went fishing on Saturday Nov 7 and Sunday Nov 8. The striped bass are here in the back bay in the rips and in the white water. Saturday the weather was beautiful with a clear sky and bright sun. We anchored in the white water and opened up our bushel of clams, using them as chum as well as for bait. We also used eels and fresh bunker. We caught keeper bass on bunker chunks and clams. David Oppenheim of Voorhees NJ caught first his first striped bass, a short by ½ inch and then about 15 minutes later he caught his first keeper striper, while his dad watched with a smile.

Sunday was more of the same, except the fish were larger, and we had some monster blue fish mixed in. The blues seemed to favor of fresh bunker chunks. While we were fishing we heard more reports of big blues up the beach. We will save that for another day.
