We have been catching some good numbers of crappie on Ray Roberts right now. The crappie have been holding good on brush piles in 12 to 30 ft of water also in timber in 20 to 25 ft of water. Jigs and minnows are both producing fish but at times the minnow bite has been better. The crappie fishing at Ray Roberts will just keep getting better as we get into fall. September and October are excellant months for crappie fishing. Look for big numbers with the bigger fish moving in to fatten up for the winter.
