Gene Dugas

Charlie, Gene, Larry and Sam hit Hopedale early and ready for some fishing. Finally got some good weather conditions on a day when Charlie was fishing we have been battling the weather all season. Today was perfect light winds and overcast skies to keep down the heat. First stop put a few trout in the box to start things off. Moving along found a slow bite at Stone Island but not enough to stay on. Hit some more islands and found a steady bite with mixed sized trout and with very little tide movement we decided to stay on these fish. All corks with shrimp or croakers slowly building a box. Headed out to try some rigs got a few big trout but nothing wild. On the way in we stopped and added a few reds to the mix to top off the day. Note slam dunk or box of mules but a good day.
