Trinity River Salmon fishing is great now. Catching limits of salmon. Catching a few steelhead , watch for another run of steelhead to be on their way up around October, as they follow the salmon up river. This will be the only place to catch salmon now, until the Sacramento River opens in November. The limit on the Trinity River is 3 salmon , 2 adult and 1 jack .
Techniques being used are side drifting roe and back trolling Flatfish lures.
