Hope everyone is enjoying the Labor Day holiday. Its no surprise I spent my morning fishing! The trout were on fire again today as we whacked the fish by 8:50A.M. Joining me today on the big Kenner was Cody Kelleher & his son Stephen from Houma along with my son Dead-eye Chris Lake. The trout were feeding at daybreak and we finished up our 100 fish limit early. Nothing big(12-15in.)but all the numbers you want! The shrimp were skipping all around us all morning with hungry trout in hot pursuit! Except for a small rain shower at daybreak it was a beautiful morning to fish in lower Dularge. Cody & Stephen had a blast and said it was their best trip in years! Probably will give the trout a rest on Tues & Wed as I have nothing booked those 2 days. Good luck fishing!
