Day three for the Mike Schiro group was another one filled with limits of fat speckled trout!!! Capt. Jonathan Sanchez helped me again with the group.
This go round Mike had some of his Brother Marin classmates from back in the day, and these guys were a trip!!! In my boat I had Mike Schiro, Mike Pittman of Pittman Construction Co., and Tommy Martin aka '83 centerfold..
First stop, off Eloi on a lee bank we were putting some in the box. It was steady with some decent fish in the mix.
Then Jonathan gives me the 'Ya Might Wanna Come Over Here' Call. So, we quickly saddled up and rode out like cowboys. Mullets were everywhere and getting crashed, while the trout were laying right up in there with them. The corks would hit the water and stay down! They were going NUTS!!!
The guys worked the fish over and boxed their limit of 75 trout by 9am. Capt. Jonathan fished with his group and they also caught their limit of 100 speckled trout. Turned out to be another day in paradise! All fish were caught on live Boogies under corks and in the mouth.
