I had the pleasure of

fishing with a great group of guys again. Eric

Burgess, Catfish Chris, and Eric's buddy, Mike

joined me. We were headed towards Black Bay at

first until I felt a breeze in my face, which caused

me to change my mind. I then headed us to the

MRGO in order to see exactly what the wind was

doing on the outside.

We inched out to the

edge of the Sound and conditions were ideal.

Immediately we found the trout eating up! All of

the fish were stout 2lb fish.

Catfish Chris was

on fire until ole' Mr. Whiskers handicapped his

hand. He sat out for an hour while Big E and Mike

picked up the slack. The bite slowed to a halt so

we moved about 300 yds and got in them again!

We hauled trout after trout until number 100

hit the ice.

It was very early so we stopped at

a couple redfish holes on the way in. Picked off a

half doz and a few drum to boot. Great fun with

great guys that kept me laughing all day!

Fall

is knocking at the door and so is some of the best

fishing of the year! If you have never fished in the

Fall, then be sure to put it on your bucket list!

YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!
