WOW! What a great feeling to be back out on the ice. Ice is forming fast and the fishing is excellent. We did real well on walleyes tonight ranging in size from 14-22 inches and we picked up some real nice perch from 10-13 inches.

Ice conditions are from 4-6 inches on the small bays and we should be able to venture out farther by the middle of the week. Early ice is great because you can find every species in the shallow water. It felt great having that first walleye come in and just hammer your jig. Get ready, ice fishing is in full swing!
