Looks like we should be all set for the 08 salmon season. I have had some time to fish the big res the last few days and it's VERY FULL! Like 2 more inches and it's going over the spillway. It looks like we're in for another afternoon of rain today. This weekend is a release weekend which coincides w/ POOLASSKY feild days. I'd venture to say they will be releasing over 1000cfs on Sat & Sun. Other then a few Skams I haven't heard of any kings or bts yet but it wouldn't surprise me if there's couple early stragglers in the next week or so. I did here of a 20+ Skam in the hatchery ladders this past Sat. I would wait for a ''good'' report before driving any distance to fish the river. Anyways the fishing on the lake has been spotty for kings but decent for bts. The res has been alot of fun w/ bass and few bows
